What makes us better?
EXPERIENCE– “The only source of knowledge is experience”- Albert Einstein
With experience comes knowledge. Our inspectors are among the most experienced in the home inspection profession. Being a competent home inspector requires a broad range of knowledge about systems and construction found in brand new homes and those centuries old.
EDUCATION– “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” – W.B. Yeats
Each inspector receives a minimum of 40 hours of NJ approved third party education credits bi-annually, as well as, many hours of internal and third-party education and training.
INDUSTRY LEADERS– “Leadership is service to others.” – Denise Morrison
We are passionate about our profession. Our inspectors are members of various industry associations. Most have leadership positions in local or national organizations.
SERVICE– “To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.” – Douglas Adams
Our full-time customer support team is available to help you with your questions and needs before and after the scheduled inspection. We return your phone calls.
WE CARE– “People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.” – T. Roosevelt
We care and we know a lot about homes. We are all about helping our customers understand the condition of the home they are buying, selling or one which is just coming off warranty.
OUR REPORT– “If it is not written down, it does not exist.” – Philippe Kruchten
The report will not only help you to identify and reduce potential risks associated with buying a home, but it should also allow you to effectively communicate that information to others including your attorney, real estate agent and the seller. We work hard to back up our opinions regarding the condition of the property with authoritative sources. Describing the significance and providing pictures of defects, when possible, help bring clarity to all parties and defend your request for remediation. A summary of the major material defects helps you to focus on the important things.
TECHNOLOGY– “It is essential to have good tools, but it is also essential that the tools be used in the right way”- Wallace D. Wattles
We conduct radon testing using active Continuous Radon Monitors (CRM). CRMs are computerized testing equipment that supplies information that typical passive monitors (charcoal radon cans) simply cannot. From ‘old school’ hand tools to technically advanced testing equipment, our inspectors are proficient in the use of tools and equipment needed to perform a proper home inspection.
